Mr. Jeffrey Lam is a Practice Manager with over 10 years of experience in management and business operations. He is currently pursuing a Conveyancing Qualification to become a Licensed Conveyancer.

Jeffrey joined Alstern Solicitors in 2022 as a Practice Manager, Marketing, and Conveyancing Assistant. His role encompasses business operations, human resources, accounting, and marketing, ensuring the firm runs efficiently while delivering high-quality legal services.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Coventry University and an MSc in International Business from the University of Birmingham. He initially began his career as an Education Consultant, advising students on UK university admissions and visa applications. He later worked as an Account Manager at the Bank of China (Birmingham) before transitioning into business consultancy, where he spent two years advising UK businesses. His extensive management and advisory experience have equipped him with strong commercial acumen and a broad network of business connections, which now benefit his work in business immigration and legal consultancy.

Jeffrey has developed specialist expertise in business immigration, including Sponsorship Licence applications, business plan drafting, and other corporate immigration matters. In addition to his immigration focus, he plays a key role in the firm’s conveyancing department, assisting solicitors with both residential and commercial property transactions.

Currently, Jeffrey has completed OISC Level 1 training in Immigration Law and is undertaking Conveyancing and Property Level 6 Diploma to advance his legal career. His goal is to become a Licensed Conveyancer. Through his training and hands-on experience, he is building a comprehensive skill set in both business and property law, ensuring he can provide valuable support to clients and the firm.
